HARD CHROME PLATING - MIL SPEC
Hard Chrome plating on hydraulic cylinders and bearing surfaces are the principle operations of this hoist and rack line. Deposition times in terms of hours at full amperages required that IPEC install high efficiency scrubbers for removal of Hex Chrome fumes in order to meet local emission standards. DC power supplies were over 10,000 amps at 18 volts. Utilities & wastewater was routed under the fiberglass flooring.
