AQUEOUS CLEANING SYSTEMS
IPEC can customize your aqueous cleaning needs into affordable prepackaged systems that require only minimal installation. All tanks, heaters, vent hoods, pumps and filters are mounted on skids or frames.
IPEC systems are used heavily in the aerospace and defense industry as a low cost alternative for expensive and complex cleaning operations.
MACHINE SHOP PLATING / ANODIZING
Machine shops with small job lots are constantly faced with subcontracting plating and anodizing to outside vendors. IPEC offers complete chemical processes including plating and anodizing, passivate, electro-polish, electro-forming, chemfilm and nital etch to name a few.
With IPEC expertise you can finally bring these processes in house for an affordable price. All systems are fully integrated including air and water pollution control. These systems are designed to accomodate various machine shop formats such as LEAN MFG. Contact us with your requirements.
DECORATIVE PLATING - CUSTOM FINISHES
Decorative copper, nickel, chrome, bronze, brass, oil rubbed finishes and custom patinas. All are possible with IPEC process lines. This is a limited production hand line used extensively in high-end specialty faucet and home furnishings. Other products served include lamp and lighting, statuary, and automotive / motorcycle aftermarkets.
BENCH PLATING - CLEAN ROOM - RESEARCH
IPEC has built hundreds of specialty wet benches for electro-deposition, thin film, wafer fab, nital etch, precious metal plating and many other operations that require custom configurations. IPEC can custom build a plating bench to your specific needs.
MODULAR PLATING BENCH - PRECIOUS METALS
This is a free standing - self contained plating bench designed by IPEC for depositing platinum and other precious metals on turbine blades and components used in power plant operations. The module integrates , process and rinse tanks,fume exhaust, DC power supplies, Dc bussing, programable timing, pH monitoring, filtration and solution heating, (etc). Utilities are integrated into the system and installation requires only single point connections. Systems are constructed and tested at IPEC prior to shipment.
BRUSH PLATING / ANODIZING
This system is a brush plating & anodizing bench specifically designed for FAA - Mil spec brush plating and anodizing. It can be configured for all of the IPEC/Brooktronics processes.
IPEC brush plating benches include work deck, built-in DC power supplies, ancillary support equipment, ventilation, water supply and drains.
PROTOTYPE - LABORATORY
This system is designed for prototype and labortory plating and anodizing research. The emphasis here is flexibility. Tanks can be inserted and removed easily.
This type of system is used for developing new chemistries and finishes. It bridges the gap for scaling up processes from lab beakers to production process tanks.
HERMETIC SEAL ETCH LINE - ELECTRONICS
This etch line was designed to automatically process thousands of hermetic seals through a potassium permanganate system. The system features fully integrated tanks, ventilation and ancillary components. Parts are transported via baskets to each tank and finally to a forced heated air dry. The wastewater is total recycled in a closed-loop ion exchange system.
